**This week in French I, we will be covering the cultural differences of school in France vs. the US. We will work solely from pages 76-81 in the textbook.**

En classe:

• Daily review questions and conversations in French.
• Discussed and corrected Monday's vocabulary worksheet homework from pages 76-81.
• Read and discussed all cultural aspects on pages 76-81.

Les devoirs:

• Write a letter back to Nathalie about your school, your family and anything else you would like to add. Write in complete sentences in French. Follow her letter as a model on page 76.
  

French Culture

• Completed the cognates worksheet in small groups and then together as a class.
• Homework: Make note cards for each cognate from the worksheet - one side with the French word/expression and the other side with a sketch or drawing to symbolize it.
  

French II

En classe:

• Review activity to prepare for today's quiz on the future tense and à + definite articles.
  
• Took the Leçon 21 quiz today (pages 200-203).

Les devoirs:

• Bring in news articles and artifacts.
  

French I

En classe:

• Took the Unité 3 test today!

Les devoirs:

• Bring in articles and artifacts on Monday.
  

French Culture

2nd period:

• Parisian monument quiz.
• Read through "In France" book. Each group chose a section to share and discuss with the class.
• Homework: Bring articles and artifacts to class on Monday.

9th period:

• Finished our Georges Seurat paintings.
• Homework: Bring articles and artifacts to class on Monday.

French II

En classe:

• Daily review questions and conversations in French.
• Review activity of the future tense and à + definite article - 2 lines of students, each with a note card in order to quiz the student across from them. Line rotated.
  
• Reviewed and corrected Tuesday's homework.

Les devoirs:

• Complete activity 6 on page 2-303 in the textbook.
  
• Study for Friday's quiz on the future tense and à + definite article.
  

French I

En classe:

• Daily review questions and conversations in French.
• Reviewed for the Leçon 11 quiz with individual dry erase boards.
  
• Took the Leçon 11 quiz.
• Played Telephone to review for Friday's Unité 3 test (1st and 6th periods).
• Rehearsed café skits (3rd period only).
