French Culture
In class:
- Welcome new students! Reviewed syllabus and briefly discussed the Tour du Monde Francophone project. (2nd period only)
- Discussed current events and new French words found on artifacts.
- Worked with a partner to begin the Borrowed Words worksheet. Try to finish this at home. As your parents if they've heard of some of these words/expressions that are French but are now a part of our English language. You can look up some of these words at www.wordreference.com - type in the word/expression and click "French-English."
- Finished the Georges Seurat paintings. (9th period only)
Homework:
- Try to finish the Borrowed Words worksheet and bring this to class on Tuesday.
