Monday/Tuesday

En classe:

• Discussed current events and French artifacts.
• Received back the Unité 1 Leçon 1 quizzes and made all necessary corrections. Remember to bring home your quiz to have it signed if you received a D or U.
• Reviewed Halloween vocabulary.
• Completed a brief worksheet with a student, answering questions about a French business card for a photographer. Discussed the significance of this cultural artifact.
• Played Tour Eiffel review game to review vocabulary from Unité 1 Leçon 2.

Homework:

• Complete the study guide in order to help you study for Wednesday's quiz on Unité 1 Leçon 2.
• Study for your quiz!
• Review the French Halloween vocabulary so that we can play some games on Friday!

• Began reading the Little Prince. Read and completed journals for chapters 1 and 2.

• Make sure your Little Prince journals are finished.
• Meet in the Multicultural Resource Center on Wednesday and bring your francophone project materials.

• Daily review questions and conversations in French.
• Reviewed Unité 1 Leçon 2 vocabulary: played the "Tour Eiffel game" with a partner to quiz each other on Leçon 2 vocabulary, acted out skits between two people (introducing yourself, asking someone's name, expressing nationality, asking someone about his/her nationality, etc.)
• Competed Leçon 2 worksheet and checked it in for a homework grade.
• Turned in Halloween extra credit projects.

• On Monday, bring in act./etc. (French/francophone news articles and artifacts).
• Study for Wednesday's quiz on Unité 1 Leçon 2.

• We went to the Multicultural resource center to have an introduction to the center and to begin our francophone research projects.
  
• Read about Georges Seurat and completed a worksheet based on the new information we learned about him and his style of painting - Pointillism.

• On Monday, bring in news articles and French artifacts.
• Study for Thursday's quiz on borrowed words (use the worksheet we completed this week to help you study).

• Reviewed the Halloween vocabulary in French.
• Completed a review worksheet to review Unité 3 vocabulary. Corrected the answers on the board.
• Played "frappeur" with the notecards you made last night for homework.
