• Played "I Spy" by describing the colors of students' clothes in the classroom to review colors.
• Made fortune tellers to review colors, numbers, alphabet, spelling, and French expressions.

French Culture

In class:

• We went to the Multi-Cultural Resource Center to finish research and begin the rough drafts for the project. I passed out rubrics so that you know exactly how you will be graded. Use the rubric as you finish your project.

Homework:

• Make sure journal 8 is completed for class on Thursday. Work at home on your francophone project as well.

En classe:

• Used the petits tableaux to review telling time and expressions of time in French.
• Sang the "Mal à la tête" song.

En classe:

• Daily review questions.
• Introduction to colors: rouge, noir, jaune, bleu, violet, brun, orange, blanc, rose, gris.
• Completed a worksheet on the colors in French.
  
• Sang the "Mal à la tête" song.

Les devoirs:

• Write out each of the colors in French fives times on a separate sheet of lined paper. Place this in your homework section of you French binder. Be prepared to show me these 55 words in class on Wednesday. This is repetitive but it will help you out with spelling!
  

French Culture

In class:

• I presented my Tour du Monde Francophone research project on France to give the students an idea of what is expected for the final presentation.
• In 2nd period, we finished Ch. 7 of The Little Prince and in 9th period, we finished Ch. 8.

Homework:

• Meet in the Multi-Cultural Resource Center tomorrow. Bring your completed packet on your specific country. Plan on spending the period tomorrow on your final paper and presentation.
• Complete journal entries 1-7.

En classe:
We discussed actualités and et ceteras and went over last week's quiz on faire, avoir and être.

If you were absent for last week's quiz, please make it up!

If you received a D+ or below on last week's quiz, please bring it home and have it signed by the end of this week.
