**This week in French II, we will be completing our review of Unité 4, and beginning Unité 5 in the textbook.**

En classe:

• Daily review questions and conversations in French about the weekend, etc.
• Discussion of current events and French artifacts. Discussions concentrated on the school collapse in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and France's support of Obama's win along with the First Lady of France promoting the slogan "Oui, nous pouvons" for France's politics.
• Review of Unité 4 vocabulary with BINGO.

French I

**This week in French I, we will be concentrating on Unité 1 Leçon 4 - pages 26-29 in the textbook. This Leçon focuses on telling time in French.**

En classe:

• Daily review questions and conversations in French.
• Discussed current events and French artifacts. Discussion concentrated on the school collapse near Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
• Passed back and corrected Unité 1 Leçon 2 quizzes (not in 3rd period).
• Read the conversation on telling time on page 26 in our textbook (not in 3rd period).
• Passed out and began working on the Unité 1 Leçon 4 vocabulary worksheet.

Les devoirs:

• Complete the Unité 1 Leçon 4 vocabulary worksheet for Wednesday.
  

French Culture

In class:

• We read and began the journal entry Chapter 10 in the Little Prince.

Homework:

• Please complete journals 1-10 for Wednesday. They will be collected at the beginning of class on Wednesday for a final grade!
• Meet in the MCRC on Wednesday.

En classe:

• Daily review questions and conversations in French.
• Played Tic Tac Toe to review the verb "être" and regular -er verbs.
• Played Telephone to review Unité 4 vocabulary.

• Bring in French news articles and artifacts on Monday.
• Prepare and study for a quiz on Unité 4 on Wednesday.

• Daily review questions and conversations in French.
• Played Telephone to review vocabulary from Leçon 3.
• Took the Unité 1 Leçon 3 quiz.

Homework:

• Make sure your journals 1-9 are completed.
• Bring in articles and artifacts on Monday.

En classe:

• Daily review questions and conversations in French.
• Passed back and corrected Unité 3 quizzes.
• Played the Candy Landy type of a game in order to review the vocabulary from Unité 4.

Les devoirs:

• Study Unité 4 and come to class on Friday with tangible proof that you studied (note cards, spelling practice on paper, etc.)
