• Welcome new students! Reviewed syllabus and briefly discussed the Tour du Monde Francophone project. (2nd period only)
• Discussed current events and new French words found on artifacts.
• Worked with a partner to begin the Borrowed Words worksheet. Try to finish this at home. As your parents if they've heard of some of these words/expressions that are French but are now a part of our English language. You can look up some of these words at www.wordreference.com - type in the word/expression and click "French-English."
• Finished the Georges Seurat paintings. (9th period only)

• Try to finish the Borrowed Words worksheet and bring this to class on Tuesday.

• Small review activity (worksheet) to practice Unité 2 spelling.
  
• Daily review questions and conversations in French.
• Finished rough drafts and began final drafts of our cartoons!
  
• Listened to French rock! ("Pop à Paris!")

• Study for tomorrow's quiz on Unité 2. Spelling counts!
• Finish your cartoon. Make sure you have correct spelling and punctuation. Also, make sure it's in color.

• 2nd period: Bring your French food to class tomorrow for our French party in honor of our last day of class.
• 9th period: If you have not already done so, bring a folder to class tomorrow specifically for this class. Make sure you have a pencil and paper with you everyday. Also, be sure to buy 3x5 note cards by Monday for your current events and new French words assignments.
